From September 6th to the 19th you can drop off any gently-used clothing at a Foreign Exchange store in Southern California and receive a free, trendy graphic t-shirt.

The city has also become known for its crime rate: higher than the national average in several key categories such as violent crimes, robberies, aggravated assaults, and motor vehicle thefts. Salinas Police Chief Louis Fetherolf is asking members of the community to step up their own personal efforts to combat crime.
